Solitude Farm offers self catered dining ensuring that your time spent here is in a relaxed and unstructured atmosphere. We do provide courtesy farm fresh eggs for your breakfast, you can even gather them yourself! We are stocked with condiments, a full range of teas, coffee and expresso, all included. No bottled water needed, our fresh deep well mountain water is delicious.
SELF CATERED: Bring you own food and prepare here in the cottage kitchen.

OFFSITE IN NEARBY TOWNS: There are numerous eateries in the town of Buchanan that are adjacent to great shopping and antique stores. This is about 12 country miles away. No stoplights. No traffic. We are also fairly close to Lexington, 25 min and Roanoke, 35 min, both of which has a great downtown with excellent and varied eating and activities.
